Bathroom Design — Three Individual Spaces

This project involved the redesign of three bathrooms, along with a reworking of the adjoining laundry. While each space was approached individually, the overall intent was to create rooms that felt resolved, functional, and quietly refined.

Minor wall adjustments allowed for a more efficient layout throughout, particularly within the laundry, which was reconfigured to improve usability and significantly increase storage.

Each bathroom was designed with its own distinct character, through material selection, tone, and attention to detail.

The family bathroom takes on a more atmospheric direction, using depth, gloss, and layered lighting to create a sense of calm and retreat. Two primary tiles are paired to bring texture and visual interest, while the green feature introduces a point of contrast and energy. Timber and warm metallic accents enhance the tones within the palette, with the wall light adding a clean, contemporary edge.

The guest bathroom embraces a fresher, lighter feel, with soft colour and texture creating a space that feels easy and welcoming. A vertical green marble tile introduces movement and variation, complemented by a softly lit recessed niche. The fluted green vanity ties in with the sculptural oyster wall light, bringing a subtle sense of cohesion and detail.

The ensuite sits somewhere in between — balanced and practical, with subtle detailing that adds interest without overwhelming the space. A softly lit tiled niche becomes a natural focal point, while picket tiles in the shower introduce colour and form.
