Design stories, ideas & inspiration

I love sharing the thinking behind my work, whether that’s talking about the details that make a home feel personal, showing how a project came together, or exploring ideas around colour, texture and the way we live. Here you’ll find a selection of media features, interviews and articles where I’ve had the opportunity to share my work and thoughts on interior design.

Best in Interior Design 2026: Rebecca Logan Design

In this Verve Magazine feature, I talk about my design background, what inspires me, and my approach to creating relaxed, refined interiors that are beautiful, comfortable, and practical. I also share the story behind the Layered Elegance project and why I believe the best homes are the ones that feel individual to the people who live in them.

when design meets detail

Newtech : Layered Elegance Project

Newtech takes a closer look at my Layered Elegance project, where three bathrooms and an adjoining laundry were redesigned as individual spaces while still feeling connected. The feature explores the considered details, materials, colour and function behind the project, from layered lighting and textured tiles to practical layout changes and storage.

Trade Me Property

minimal, yet cosy

Trade Me Property Feature

I wrote this article for Trade Me Property about creating a minimalist home that still feels warm, comfortable and personal. It looks at ways to bring character into a pared-back interior through texture, colour, greenery, art and a mix of old and new, without losing the calm and simplicity that makes minimalism appealing.
