The design process
As an interior designer, I’m here to help you create a home that feels personal, practical and beautiful.
I offer a variety of custom services, whether you’re seeking a simple refresh or a complete redesign. It all starts with an in home interior design consultation, where I take the time to understand your vision, explore ideas and get a clear understanding of your style, preferences and what you want to achieve.
From there, we’ll establish clear design objectives to give the project a clear direction from the outset.

initial consultation
This is where we meet to view your space and discuss your design requirements, including your wants, needs, budget and timeline.
We’ll talk through your ideas and I’ll ask questions about how you use your home, your lifestyle, likes, dislikes and preferred styles. If you have any images or ideas, I’d love to see them.
From there, I’ll put together a clear scope of work and fee proposal, outlining the stages, goals and fees for your project.

concept development
I’ll consider all the elements of your home and create a mood board to establish the direction for the design. I’ll develop the space planning, colour, materials and finishes, using images to communicate the look and feel we’re exploring. Physical samples may also be included where needed.
We’ll review the concept together and you can let me know if there are any changes you’d like to make. Once the overall direction is approved, I’ll begin developing and detailing the design.

design detailing
So you can visualise your completed design, I’ll provide detailed 3D renders, floor plans and finishes schedules. I’ll include samples, photos and costings of the products chosen to ensure you get a strong visual impression of your finished space.
Once again, you can tell me if there are any changes that you want made, and if necessary, relevant details will be revised. When the design details have been completed to our mutual satisfaction, I’ll begin the procurement process.

purchasing & procurement
Once the design is approved, I’ll prepare itemised proposals, then manage the purchasing and procurement of your selected furniture, furnishings, lighting and accessories.
I’ll place and manage orders, keep track of lead times and coordinate deliveries, making sure everything is ordered correctly and arrives when needed, so every detail comes together as planned.

furnishing & installation
Once everything is ready, I’ll coordinate the delivery and placement of furniture and furnishings, install décor and add the final styling details. I’ll visit the site to oversee the installation, checking that furniture, furnishings and décor are placed as designed and that everything comes together as planned.
